My M550i is now at the port and will depart out of Bremerhaven and dock in Galveston, Texas. Does anyone know how long the cruise takes? I’m guessing a few weeks, but just curious. Thanks!

Try and research which company and hence which ships do that run and that should then tell you. You should be able to track the ship in real time across the pond which will give an ETA for when it gets to the US.

I am happy to report that my M550i arrived in Galveston safely late Friday and is now at the VPC. Given that it’s only about 300 miles from my dealership in the Dallas area, I’m hoping to have it late this week! Does that sound reasonable, or am I being overly optimistic?

Dealership informed me that my 550i just arrived late this afternoon! Picking up tomorrow now. Given we were on the same ship you should receive tomorrow or Friday

Yes! I will be picking up my car tomorrow morning, but got a sneak peek yesterday. It looks just as great as I expected and can’t wait to drive it!

I’m sure your dealer will do this but make sure you have your profile set up before you leave so all the settings that you change get saved under that

I’d also suggest log on to the connected drive logon and purchase the speed camera alert app ($25 per year I believe in the US) well worth it.

Update for y’all! Picked up yesterday! Couldn’t take pics then because it was raining.

-Diamond Ceramic package applied at the dealership to the interior/exterior.
-30% tint on front two windows, Llumar Air90 on the windshield, 5% everywhere else. Ended up going with F1 Pinnacle.
