BimmerCode After Full-Screen CarPlay Solution?

I have a 2019 530e and cable coded full-screen CarPlay to replace split-screen CarPlay. I'd like to customize a few more options so I purchased an OBD adapter made for BimmerCode. It's scheduled to arrive later today. This morning I was reading the BimmerCode online manual and noticed the following information: "The headunit has to be in its original state. If you used a third-party solution to enable CarPlay or the navigation has been unlocked, these changes have to be reverted, because BimmerCode will not allow coding the headunit otherwise. Retrofitted iDrive systems may also not be accessible under certain circumstances."

After reading this, I'm concerned BimmerCode won't work because the headunit is not in its original state (right?). However, I didn't use code to enable CarPlay or unlock the navigation, as those features were standard. Does this make a difference?

Has anyone had success with BimmerCode after enabling full-screen CarPlay via a third-party solution?

You are fine. This is just for people who hacked the head unit to enable carplay. I enabled full screen carplay via cable and an executable. I used bimmercode after and it worked fine.

Where you able to get in the head unit module in BimmerCode? If you did can you please tell me how you did your fullscreen? After I did mine I was not able to access the headunit section of BimmerCode. Thanks.

If you only enabled FS on a vehicle already with ACP, you're probably ok. I had FS ACP and lifetime NAV FSC unlocked on my '16 G12 and BC refuses to access the HU module, even after I revert the mod (all the other modules work fine, though). I now use E-sys if I need to code my HU. BTW, OBD-LAN-phone adapter works much better than BT OBD adapter (the difference was like broad-band vs dial-up).

Bimmercode will not enable Full Screen Apple Carplay. (there should be a red note in bold at the top of this forum stating that

)

You need to spend $50 bucks and have someone make a file for you specific to your VIN to upload via USB or Laptop. PM if you would like to use the guy I did.

You need to spend $50 bucks and have someone make a file for you specific to your VIN to upload via USB or Laptop. PM if you would like to use the guy I did.

I don't have an I phone but when I screen mirror it is nowhere near full screen size.
Is there any way to change the size for this.

iPhone doesn't do screen mirroring with BMW. Android does. Apple won't allow it. No video from any source (DVD, USB, Android Screen Mirror) plays full screen on the G30.

There are a few threads on this not too far down in either this forum or the general one that has a lot of info and people favorites. I am pretty simple. I don't use expert mode, too chicken. I basically bought Bimmercode to shut off Auto Stop Start and remove disclaimers. I did a few other tweaks while in there but nothing I could not live without like the animated M start up. I checked out the Alpina display but went right back. Too much blue and I am kind of a BMW purist and keeping all their orange.

EDIT - video in motion too and not having the windows stop going up when the door opens. A few other little tweaks I can't remember.

Actually, with latest I-Level 21-03-5xx, fullscreen CarPlay can be enabled via coding (Bimmercode or E-Sys).
