Brake pedal "abs feeling" when coming to a full stop

I was wondering if it's something wrong with the car or relatively normal. Basically when coming to a full stop from low speeds, like on pedestrian crossing or stop sign, when between like 2-3km/h til 0, most of the times i feel break pedal giving some feedback, very similar to ABS, just not as strong. Mostly 1 or 2 pulsations.
Anyone else experiencing this or heard of similar behavior?

No but to clarify you do not have ass enabled do you as the engine stops just before the car comes to a halt and so wondering if that is factoring in the equation?
If ass on turn off and see if it still reoccurs

If ass not on with this I don't know. Someone more mechanically minded will no doubt chip in

Do you have automated breaking?

Sounds like the car is activating a panic stop.

If it is only with gentle braking as you come to a halt, I'm wondering if it is associated with the brake 'soft stop' function. Something not quite as smooth as it should be.

Indeed... disabled 'a-s-s' and the problem is gone. It's indeed not always as smooth as it should be and it happens only with very gentle braking. Thanks for the info. Highly appreciated.

Auto Start Stop is is a real pain in the G30 - it seems to kick in before the car is actually fully stationary! So when you're trying to 'just keep moving enough' it comes on and ruins the moment quickly followed by the ignition firing up as you lifted the brake pedal just at the wrong moment...

Didn't have the problem in my F10 520d (now have a G30 530i).
