RTTI
My car, G30, suddenly stopped receiving RTTI in Romania. Although I have a paid subscription. If I move the car's location from the navigation settings to any other country in the EU, RTTI works. Does anyone know why, and how it can be solved?

The only possibilities that I can think of are
Your subscription has runout (I'm the U.K. it's free for first 3 years and then you can pay for another year on a rolling basis) Your connected drive logon will be able to confirm that for sure The system has a technical issue ( I've had RTTI fail back to RDS-TMC on a couple of occasions and assume this was simply an outage on thei systems) Don't know otherwise , if subscription still in valid period I would suggest contacting bmw |

I was contacted Customer Support, directly from the car. After several phone calls and email exchanges with them, I received the following solution:
" In order to be able to use RTTI, we ask you to carry out the following steps: Step 1: uninstall the My BMW app Step 2: reinstall the My BMW app. " And indeed, now RTTI works without problems. I didn't know, and I haven't found anywhere until now, that there is a connection between RTTI in the car and MyBMW App. |
