Question How does White leather age in a BMW?

Trying to decide whether to go with White leather like the Smoke White or silverstone vs the trusty black. Not sure how the white colors would look after a few years... what are your thoughts on this?

I wanted the white, love the contrasting look against the black, but I chickened out and went with Mocha instead. Since I won't see any deterioration of the white leather, I will probably be having regrets for years.

If you clean and seal the leather it will hold up for years, but requires work...

The ivory white nappa leather has held up pretty well with proper cleaning. I also sealed and protected it upon first purchase of the car 4 years ago. The car seems more spacious and luxurious versus black leather but I have noticed that the leather on the armrest and doors seem a bit darker than the seats now. Especially the armrest. Just a bit yellowish but I'm the only one that seems to notice. You will have to clean it after wearing new jeans or any fabric that may bleed on first wear. As long as you protect it first it should easily come clean. I believe the product was called leather milk from online site.

It's been about 4 years now on white leather. So far no real issues. It's easy to clean and so far I haven't had any issues with stains.

Is car outside all the time? Sunlight will hurt it over time as well

I've had leath on my beemers for 20 years and all have been garaged during the week and have not required any leather care in that time and looked like new

So depends upon how they are treated

Do you still have it? How has it held up? I’m looking at one with Smoke White. I love merino and I love the black contrast, as well as the contrast stitching on the dash.
