Pretty base car outside of M Sport, 20s, Shadowline, and M Performance Brakes w/Red calipers. These were must have specs for me and glad my broker was able to snag this car just as it hit the ground.

Coming from a $88k msrp 2019 m550i, this car has none of the options the m550i has, but to be honest the 540i in its own is a great car and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I love how smooth the engine is and feel as though the n63 motor is a bit too heavy for this chassis as there was a bit of squat and dive w the m550i; the 540i feels very balanced. Also I have the base hifi and while the bowers and Wilkins sounds better, the hifi is still pretty impressive.

I will say the m550i suspension is stiffer, and definitely has a nicer/lower stance. Also the bigger "quad" tips in the m550i improve the rear view considerably, but all in all love this car.

Installed IND painted reflectors and cheapie Amazon m5 black mirrors. Tints are next and possibly Racechip gts down the line.

It's practically impossible to find a Bernina Grey m550i now in so. Cal, and the overall increase in prices.

Also I do a lot of city driving now and with cost of gas increasing, needed something more fuel efficient.

I had my fun with the m550i, and while I would have loved to have the n63tu3 version, I am more than happy with the 540!
