My OCD got the best of me. I procrastinated for months on whether to go to a quality chop shop muffler place, but I could not get past all those welded seams. TacticalGunnarM550 's work is the best I have seen, but I still could not get past the 10-12 welds. It's such a beautiful system but those welds are like magnets to my eyes. I almost feel like the beauty of those chromed or shiny pipes make the welds stick out more than just a base stainless creation.

So I went with Dinan full. Stupid money that I feel guilty about, but there may be some resale value someday when I put the old one back or at least that's what I tell myself as the guilt sets in, lol!
I couldn't get past the cost of the full exhausts, it seems crazy to me. Everyone's talking about resale of their exhausts, but when i was looking for a used one, no one had any for sale.

Most of us trade our cars in vs sell out right to a private individual, and dealers don't care about the brand of your exhaust. many if not most dealers actually don't want aftermarket because they can't do a certified inspection of the car.

If anyone on here is looking to sell their aftermarket exhausts, I'd be interested. Especially now that a lot of people with 2018's which is what i have are looking to trade in.
You are spot on. Modifications mean shit on a trade to a dealer and maybe you will get a few pennies on the dollar from an enthusiast on a private sale. I'm up to $12,000 in mods in 6 months. I tell myself that the LCI tails, tune, exhaust, diffuser etc. are coming off before the trade and I will trade. I don't have the patience for private sale and I do like the sales tax break. The reality is that I will probably be so excited for the new whip that I'll lazy out on bringing my car to my Dinan shop to strip it and equally as unmotivated to sell the bits, but I'll tell myself I will for now.

There was a guy in NJ a month ago asking $2500 for the full Dinan exhaust including an M5 diffuser. He was unwilling to ship and I was unwilling to drive there from MA, but make no mistake, if he were in MA, I would have given him $2500 or maybe negotiated a little less.
