My new M550I will be landing in Maryland around January 6th with a stop sale due to a missing radio chip. Does anyone have any knowledge of approximate wait time once the car hits the port? I feel fortunate that I found a car that was almost an identical match to my build but would love to take posession.

My 530 had a stop sale due to the RAM (harmon kardon). but it only sat there for about 2 weeks before it made its way to the dealership.

It took about two weeks for mine to get the chip after the stop sale. Mine was stuck in Brunswick GA at the time. That was this month also.

You're talking about the RAM correct? Did you have two defects code?

How long were you there? And what stereo system do you have?

My 550i w/ B&W arrived in Baltimore on Dec 27 and it's still waiting for chips.

I didn't order it, was dealer inventory in production that I reserved. Was build week 45 I believe.

I was there for about 20 days, HK radio. I didnt do anything to try and expedite the process it just got released. Hope yours comes soon

Possibly delayed because they were moving to a new facility.

As if we didn't have enough delays. Mine is in Bremerhaven waiting for a ship to Baltimore. I have to say I'm not excited about a processing center that just opened today with many new employees doing the work on the RAM Module and Parking module installations of my precious Individual Manufactur M550i

My 550 with B&W is still waiting in Baltimore, but another 550 going to the same dealership and arrived at the same time (Dec 27) with HK just closed. So clearly a major delay on B&W now and HK are sailing through.

I thought 550's orders had it bad. Guys on m5 forum have been waiting months for b&w retrofit. Hopefully you get yours sooner than later.

My 530e with HK had production in mid november and has been standing in Dingolfing since 1.Dec because of amplifier. Last update from bmw scandinavia is its expected finished up this month, february but not anything for sure.. I am starting to get really unpatient not getting any good answers other than maybe and hope so🤷 Anyone else here in scandinavia with months of extra waiting?

I’ve been following some of those threads and all the M5s with BW have been closing in 6-7 weeks. Where are you seeing taking months? And for reference I’m at 6 weeks 4 days today for my 550.
