Hey everyone! This is my new 540i LCI and after a 2.5 month waiting it's finally here I have built, ordered and sold it to myself as I am a SA at one of the NJ dealers.. It's been only 2 days since I got it, but can't stop looking at it our of my window at home 🤣. It drivers like a charm and the built quality is top notch! New sensatec is amazingly soft, however I don't like how it smells, hopefully it will wear off soon.. I know Black Sapphire and Cognac interior are not the best combos, but I can't wait to tint the windows anyway ) It's been super busy at work in the last couple of weeks..
I already ordered a Dinantronics sport piggyback and their axle back, however they are back ordered until February
Struggling to find a tune, downpipe that doesn't trigger CEL and a closed cai.. Any suggestions? I am not looking for crazy gains and don't want to sacrifice the comfort by much. Thanks!

The Active Autowerke B58 downpipe will fit the 540

That is beautiful! My suggestion is to leave it be for a while. Cosmetically it needs nothing! You got the blackout package, so nothing to do with trim and grills. The diffuser looks great.

Grab Bimmercode and kill auto stop start, enable video in motion and any other comfort tweaks that appeal to you. But honestly, drive it for a bit, then maybe consider a tune if more power is your thing.

Already did some coding, but have to see again if I missed something. Do you know why every time I start the car, the parking brake is engaged?
I have my new JB4 box sitting in my closet and waiting until I cross 1,200 mile mark lol. Dinan axleback is ordered, but on backorder until February. Will put a K&N drop in together with the jb4. Right now I am on my way to install window tints and inquire about trunk subwoofer stealth boxes..

If you have a 540i or 530i a jb4 is a good option until you move to a flash tune

If you have any 20i (even those with b48b20b engines, a flash tune is really the only way to go

K&N drop in
Rockford Fosgate 12" self powered sub
20% tint around (no windshield)
Uniden R7
Front&back Thinkware dash cam

Considering a mew muffler and amplifier upgrade in the near future.

0-60 (dragy) 3.86 sec so far. Hoping to finally get to a drag strip sometime soon
