Galaxy s21 android auto 12 no contacts sync
Hi all
Recently updated my samsung to android 12, but now the contacts are no longer showing in idrive. Anyone else having this problem? My car is a 530e 2020 (my work iphone still works). I am suspecting its android 12 and idrive, though not sure. I have tried to unpair, and regive access to contacts to both android auto and in bluetooth settings with the bimmer. The reload contacts button in idrive is there and when i press it seems to do something, but it is not loading the contacts from my phone. |

I need to check if the latest update with the phone fixes it. Okay! it may not be OS specific but manufacture specific. |

Hi, had the same problem. i got into the problem and did some test's. I resolved the issue with a factory reset. Android 12 update breaks the bluetooth. S21 Ultra.

After some search, I found the following solution:
1) Go to Settings, select Developer options, Bluetooth PBAP, Bluetooth PBAP version (or just search for pbab in the settings menu and select "Bluetooth PBAP version") 2) Change the Buetooth PBAP version from PBAP 1.2 to PBAP 1.1 and then click apply 3) Change the Buetooth PBAP version from PBAP 1.1 back to PBAP 1.2 and then click apply It *should* work without need to repair or anything else. YMMV Successfully tested with Samsung S21 and 2018 BMW 330e |

So I sat in the car today and it magically just worked, maybe the phone had a Bluetooth update, I am not sure.
Didn't not have a chance to try Pyros fix, maybe it did that it itself |
