Just installed fronts… because of squalling when cold. It was weird phenomenon. I thought the pads were worn through with all the racket… at 27k the pads were 8mm. So now at 47k figured I had worn below 4mm and noise was result of feelers.

All said… I bought Ceramic pads, borrowed a 4 piston spreader and changed the pads in 1hr all in. Picture of worn pads just for reference. Looked to be 1/4 inch or 6-7mm. So not sure why the CPO inspector said 8mm at 27k.

New pads for front and rear from Napa… $170

Great, let us know how you like the NAPA pads. Cold bite, noise and dust.

And yes, those oem pads were probably going to last to 90k+ for sure. They are not even 50% worn.

Per request. I have not taken the car to test repeatedly braking, but have stopped hard a few times on these with a traffic signal ‘surprise’ 2x. Temperature here has been in mid to low 30F but we did get to 8F one day.

I am happy with these pads. Picture show is following a week of driving,,, little to no dusting as I would have had on the OEM pads.

I used this same brand with prior Dodge Charger which had Alcoa Aluminum Mag wheels with similar results.

I've used the Brembo NAO pads on my Porsche and really liked them. I do not track the car, but brake dust was much less and braking performance remained the same as the semi-metallic pads that were replaced. While only just browsing for ceramic pads for my G30, I notice that one's choices are very limited (relative to what is available for the F10).

The fronts pads on the m850i and m550i are the same. The rotor size is larger on the m850i. The rears are slightly different.

How did these rotors and brakes perform for you? How was the dust? Also, does it have connection spot for the wear sensor?

I am very satisfied w/ the overall brake performance and the look of (Bear claws) slotted rotors when compared to OEM blank rotors. Yes, it does have connection for spots for both front and rear OEM brake wear sensors.

I installed Brembo NAO pads all around on my 987 Boxster S. These pads were rather dusty for ceramic brakes.
