I placed the order on 10/1 through the dealership and they found an allotment about a week later, which may have been a bit quicker than most. Build was a few weeks and I had no hold ups at either leaving port or arriving port. Mine left the stateside port in 3 days and was at the dealership 3 days later on 12/16. The dealership had a longer delay than normal because short staffed from COVID getting it ready, so I got it on the 21st.

I got really lucky at the US Port with it being outfitted. My car and a guy that ordered his in early August hit the dealership on the same day.

My baby had the body assembled yesterday and the Aventurine II paint applied today!!! Now it's off to the assembly line!!

I want to order a F90 M5 comp. in aventurine red. But I am a bit confused!

Is there a visible difference between aventurine red i, ii and iii ? ..Saw recently a 4 series GC in aventurine. It was aventurine red iii. I was blown away and want exactly that color. Have somewhere read that the F90 M5 has aventurine red ii. True also in 2022? ..Any real Difference between ii and iii?

Assembly is finished and my baby has gone through QA and Final Assembly.

Now it's waiting for the train ride to Bremen!

I didn't hear about Aventurine III, but Aventurine II is significantly darker than Aventurine I.

Just got today the answer from BMW Invidual. My dealer asked, if there is any visible difference between aventurin red ii and iii. The answer is no. It has just inetrnal reasons, why they do have two names of the same color. Bult ultimately the question remains, what about aventurin red 1, if it shall significantly look brighter than ii (and iii), like Cabbage is saying above

Check page 3 as well for outside. I don't have too great pics yet bc the weather turned about a week after I picked it up and it's garaged now because of the salt.

I'm not sure how different they are - it's a color that can differ massively based upon how much light hits it. I never saw another one in person I ordered it sight unseen. With no light it's still a very dark car.
