M550i Rear Diffuser

Hey guys, first thing I'm looking to replace on the incoming 22 M550i is the rear diffuser. I see that a lot of people changed theirs, but it's typically also done along with the exhaust/tips.

I'm looking for a sportier diffuser where I can keep the stock exhaust/tips and not something that looks out of place that was really meant for an M5 and the stock tips don't align correctly. Has anyone changed their diffuser but kept the stock exhaust? Let me know what you have. Looking to order before the car gets here.

Thank You, I like it. In the first picture it looks like it hangs much lower below the exhaust than the second picture. Was this adjusted or is it because the stock exhaust was smaller?

Is this an addon for the stock diffuser?

Got an ebay rear diffuser for my '21 m550i. Fitment around the stock exhaust is good. I did cut off a few pieces underneath where the middle 3 screws go but it holds in place just fine

This was the only ebay option that was specifically for stock m550i tips. All others were for 540is..

Thank You, looks good and similar to the other one. Is this an bottom add on for the stock diffuser, or did you have to uninstall stock one and re-install the full new diffuser?

does the kick sensor still work? I’m guessing the rear diffuser is the same for pre-Lci and lci

Kick sensor still works but not as well as it did stock. Pre lci and lci diffusers are different but the fittings are the same. They are interchangable. Im sure the M5 ones also fit. The only issue is the exhaust tips..

Your M550 looks Great but you blocked out the plate in the second picture but forgot to do the first one.

Just a heads up.

I have a 2019 M550i stock exhaust tips and running an F90 full carbon diffuser with rear extensions.

I sent pictures of my car into their engineer and team and the fitment with the stock exhaust tips is 100%. You will need to have it installed by a professional body shop.

I'm also looking for a rear diffuser option for a pre-lci and want to keep the stock tips. Would you have some pictures you could post of yours?

The rear diffuser looks great with the stock M550i tips. I am also looking for that exact one. Can you please share the link for the exact eBay listing for where you purchased the gloss black version?

that looks good.
I got minor damage on my OEM diffuser, repair/paint would be 400$, might as well buy new diffuser.
Where did you get yours?
