[QUOTE=Joe-BMW33;28201270]Nice, looking forward to pics. So the OEM diffuser just pulls off or are there screws holding it down?

Edit: Never mind, got it:

hey guys, so ive installed the new diffuser from ebay. fits great, color is great, wife likes the look and color better than OEM.
1. I installed left side 1st, right gap is a little wider than left, i tried moving shifting diffuser and it helped a little, moving actual bumper helps too.
2. When removing the OEM diffuser, there are total of 10 screws, use a 8mm socket. After removing all screws, just gently pull on diffuser, pushing on bumper and it comes right out. There are four clips on bottom that comes out easily by pushing up. New diffuser, there are 9 screw holes, but only used 7. The clips line up with bumper. However, there are two screw holes that cannot be lined up to heatshield.

any questions?

Wow! Thanks taking the time to take pictures and post. It is even more helpful to me, because I think your car is Carbon Black? Mine is, so I really have a great sample here of what it would look like. I see what you mean about the slightly larger gap on the right vs. the left, but if you didn't point it out, I would not notice. It is minimal.

Did the new diffuser come with reflectors or did you have to transfer them over?

nice! thanks

no reflectors, just popped the OEMs ones out and transferred to new diffuser.

yes, car is Carbon black. The glossy black looks good and really allows the blue hues to show in the carbon blk.

Looking good! The gaps aren't really that obvious.

Not yet, still procrastinating on next steps, including considering the BMW M-Performance diffuser.

Yes, that's specifically the setup they are made for. I've seen pics of the CF one from someone on one of the G30 Facebook groups. I'm not into CF and not would I spend $1,700 on it. $700 maybe for the black one, which yours is pretty much a replica of.

Ok, I am about to pull the trigger on the one you got. What the hell. Question, how would you rate the thickness and quality of the material of the OEM Cerium removed vs. the eBay one?

What's on the ground in your first pic with 10 screws laying on it? Is this a bottom plate and if so, does it go back with the new one?

not sure what that part is called but it only goes w OEM diffuser, it connects diffuser to heat shield. not needed for new one since the diffuser kinda wraps under and connects to heat shield.

Anyone had any issues with any of these aftermarket diffusers interfering with the kick under to open trunk function?

It came today and I inspected it. It looks to be in very good shape and decent quality for the money.

I know this will be easy to figure out once I remove the stock one and check things out, but the holes that are stacked, does the screw pass through all three of these and then into the body or does the underbody somehow wedge between one of the layers? I'm probably being confusing. I guess an easier way to ask is, does the screw pass through all the diffuser holes and then into the body?

I like it. Pretty easy install. I only had 7 screw holes and the two you referenced didn't line up as well. So only 5 screws out of 10. I'm guessing you meant 7 and not 9 or mine is just a bit different. Three across the front middle and two conners.

The kick to open works, but definitely not as well. Really only works from the right side to the left of the right tailpipe.
