M5 front conversion
I'm going to be doing a m5 conversion on my 550 I purchased all the parts I was just wondering about the acc Radar unit, where would it fit I know it's a little higher up than the g30, do I have to drill holes to mount it?
I'm not going to be putting any M5 badges on my car I just like the look of the m5 bumper and fenders. |

everything fit perfectly I just had to change the lower carrier to a m5 one and the radar bracket now everything works the only issue I have is I had to change the air duct on the top where the active grill flaps are to the m5 one so I can put a m5 grill but the car has a cel cause the motor is unplugged I'm looking for ways to by pass it but I didn't find anything yet

Hi,
There is Chinese bumpers but most of them have fitment issues and you can tell they are fake, the creases aren't oem looking and the bottom air intake opening looks odd not like the normal m5 bumper. |

For coding the m5 cluster to the car it's very simple but If you're not experienced with coding you can ask vic to code it he's really nice and does a good job with coding Here's the thread I made for it https://g30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1868643 |

1. Is it necessary to buy complete wheel arches? I think the wheel arch is divided into 3 parts if I'm not mistaken. 2. I read that you changed the front proximity radar bracket, any other parts on the front to adapt the M5 bumper? 3. Did you have to change the active grilles to accommodate the bumper or did you change them to complete the conversion? |

1. Correct it’s divided into 3 parts but f90s have a wider front track it won’t fit properly it’ll look bad I recommend getting the f90 one 2. The radar bracket, the lower carrier and lower duct are required 3. I don’t think it’s necessary I just changed them to complete the conversion but when I compared them they looked the same. If you have anymore questions let me know |

For the supports it’s number 3, 4 and for 8 you need both sides and for the supports you need screws 17 and 19 And the radar bracket it’s 3 and you can reuse the previous screws For the air duct you need 3 and for 5 you need both sides |
