I remember my first couple of ordered cars: you place the order, and you wait. And you wait. One day out of the blue, your salesman calls you to say that the car has arrived. Hanging in limbo for months did suck, but it also kind of reduced the frustration when the car is just sitting at the dock waiting for a ship or at VPC waiting for a truck, or a part, that we experience now. Heck, I'm still waiting for that allocation! Best of luck to you all.

Car in production disappeared from mybmw today. Tried to readd with VIN and production number and doesn't find my car. Maybe an issue with mybmw since it's down every day. Idfk…

My car disappeared too. I think so many people are logging into the BMW USA site out of frustration that it is overloaded, I am probably one of the guilty ones.
I have to say the current order situation is beyond frustrating at all stages. My M550 arrived at the Oxnard CA VPC/VDC on 12/26. The stop sale was closed on Mon. 1/24 and my car is still not loaded on a truck to the dealer 105 miles away. Planned to pick it up tomorrow, now I am told Omicron has hit the truckers hard and many are out sick.

BMW website still does not recognize my VIN or build number, but the dealer texted yesterday saying the car has left the factory and is heading to the port. Should be here in a few weeks, pending any delays.
I looked at the recall tool, and it did not have anything listed. Do those appear at the port or VPC? |
