If they say, you are not allowed to bring your own products, that's our store policy, I have no problem with that. They want to make money selling parts and that's their right.

But to say we do it because we stand behind the part when it's the same exact part you are getting for a better deal (with full Dinan warranty) does not add up that's all.

I think I hijacked the thread enough, I'll leave it at that

That's alright! Not hijacking, useful. I'm also not completely positive on my stand behind parts statement. They are a good shop and I want them to make money.

Just checking in to see if you received it and installed it with the Dinan set-up.

Should get here today - don't know if I'll have time to throw it on. How long did it take you?

About 20 minutes. Tools: 8mm socket and a Vinyl Trim Tool Set. Remove ten screws from the bottom. There will be a plate that will drop down, you won't need this. Then use one of the vinyl tools with a curve or angle on the end to wedge between stock diffuser and bumper cover where the clips are. Once you pop a clip it's easy. Start from left to right for removal and install new one from left to right. Ten 8mm screws come out and only five go back in on the new diffuser.

Here's the finished product. I don't *love* the fit. There are a couple gaps on the edges and I only got three screws back in the bottom since the holes didn't align… that said the color match is way better and it fits my exhaust tips.

Forgive how filthy my car is. Had to drive through a muddy mess on my way home a couple nights ago.

Why does the right side look like it has such a big gap vs the left next to the pipes? Is that because of the screws were not aligning ? I dont *love* that look either. I could not leave that on mine looking like that.

I'm sure you did, but did you just start the screws vs put them all the way in to make sure the other holes lined up?

Well, that's bc I'm an idiot ha. I didn't use enough muscle power to push the edges of the diffuser to the next screw hole under the bumper.

Night pics, but fitment is vastly better now.

Blame it on me being really cold while I put it on the first time! My OCD forced me off the couch to fix it.

@Joe - sorry for hijacking your thread! Hope this puts your mind at ease for when your exhaust comes in.

Nice!!! No hijacking at all, I've been waiting for this! Thank you for posting this and I'm glad it is confirmed that the diffuser fits the Dinan tips as I really love this diffuser.

It looks so good on your car. Sorry to not see all this until now. I could have given you some tips on fitting it, but you figured it out. You definitely didn't have a clip or two seated properly on the top right. I had the same but just takes some muscle and stretching. I think I popped the right side out a few times and reinserted the right edge until I had it perfect.

What two screws of the five did you initially miss? The corners? Those definitely take a little pull, but those are critical to getting the edge clips to stay in flush.

Again, I really love this diffuser on your white car. I like it better than on mine. Much better than what you had before. I opted for the black tips.

Thanks again.

Thanks, Joe!

I only got the two corner screws in and one in the center. The other ones wouldn't go in at all.

Appreciate the suggestion! Very happy with how it turned out. Looks way better than the other cheap-o diffuser I had slapped on there.
