Gloss black roof wrap on alpine white

I am considering having a gloss black wrap applied to the roof of my white M550. Has anyone done that? Opinions?

People have been doing this forever. Considered it back in 2014 on our AW F32. Wrapping the shark fin will be the difficult part but a pro should have no issue.

It would probably look strange to leave the shark fin white. We have a shop here with a great reputation. I might check it out.

I left mine white out of pure laziness when I wrapped it. I'll take another attempt in the spring when it gets warm - there's some slight imperfections I'm not happy with.

Leave it white. looks sic, good contrast while not overstated.

I'd like to see this with the roof rails done and down into the windshield frame too. Not saying I'd like it, just wanna see it. Doing just the roof rails might look odd and you'd have to stop the vinyl someplace at the windshield.

Here's what I'm talkig about, they do it with the carbon roof on the M5. Looks good.

I'd suggest doing the above if wrapping a roof on a standard 5'er.

I wonder what these are? They look like some sort of access point into the roof. I like the look of covering the roof rails but not sure if these should be covered?

Bicycle racks and such attach to them.
Or the cross members for those types of attachments.

Oh you're right wrapping the racks is a nicer touch. Probably something id do this spring. Going to leave the fin white though like that contrast. Any idea what this runs ballpark? Save me the trouble of getting quotes 😉

off the top of my head, I want to say mine was $300 - it was definitely no higher than that.
