Anyone ever switch out their reverse lights? These things are not remotely bright and i can't see anything backing up…any solutions?

Aren't they already LED? I never had any problems with my MY2017 G30

In my case i think they are not led as the light is yellow and as far as I read LED comes only on M5 but i might be wrong with that one.

We are actually in the same market but country packages differs I guess

I also own a 520i but with a 1.6lt engine much harder conversion when compared to LED

I always thought reverse lights were all about letting other drivers know you are about to or are backing up, not to light a pathway for you.

Yea they really are not meant to light up the pathway for you. Now if you upgrade to the LCI tails, the red is so bright when pressing the brake, it lights up everything behind LoL.

I'll have to make it a point to check this out on my LCI tails. I guess I never put so much weight on my reverse lights. The only time I looked at them on my LCI's was when the coder was done coding to make sure they worked.

Yea the red brightness helps me big time to stay away from the curb! Looking thru 5% tints in the night is pretty tough lol

Yes I do but parking alongside the curbs, to avoid scraping my rims/wheels, I usually put my window down in the dark areas but now, with the bright LCI tails, no need to put the window down!
