Confused about TPMS modules

I have a new set of rims arriving in January. The plan is to fit a new set of pressure monitors rather than transfer the current ones over. That way I can keep the OEM rims for winters. However looking for replacements online has me confused. I can't find the OEM part number for the G30. I can determine that Schrader is one of the OEM suppliers but they have a bunch of universal part numbers that suggest special equipment is required to code them the the BMW system?

What's the best thing to do here?

Same here.
Ordered 18" as the 21's are just so too thin for the pothole ridden roads around here.
Didn't even think about the TPMS until I saw this.

I bought the OEM Schrader pressure monitors with the 1210# part number for the G30 https://m.buycarparts.co.uk/schrader/8907594

My hope is they are BMW ready on the right frequency and idrive picks them up.

Fall back plan is the tyre depo will have a hand held programmer.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread folks, but I'm in the same boat as OP and subsequent posters and couldn't find a conclusive answer elsewhere. I have aftermarket wheels coming in as well and would like to get a separate set of TPMS for those instead of transferring the OEM ones over. Info with what make/model TPMS and calibration requirements would be helpful.

I purchased Schrader (28238) TPMS from RockAuto ($22.00) for my Vossen Wheels. The programming is NOT required, just follow OE "relearn procedure" after the install using iDrive.

Thanks so much! The drop down menu lists several accessories related to the the TPMS ("clip", "cradle", etc); would I be needing anything in addition to just the sensors themselves?

Just the TPMS sensors only.

Had new rims and tyres complete, fitted with oem Tpms and centre rotating bezels. Everything just 'worked', and outstanding service.
Will be getting winters shortly.
I ditched the RF, went down a size to 19's, and amazed at the difference in ride.

This is the UK site, but they do ship worldwide.

Just make sure you get screw in rather than clip in. The later are going to fall off if you go over 120mph at the drag strip. I drive menu option I used was summer tyres other and I set the pressure lower for non run flat (36psi)
