G30 mud / splash guards ?
So, from what I can tell there isnt an OEM option, has anyone found an aftermarket product ? I may have layed it on a little thick, but Ive got tire-shine splashing straight across the side of my car, front and back. I found something on ebay that ships from China, just wondering if anyone here knows of any options. TIA.
Is the body on these cars the same 2017 to 2022 ? Last edited by italian926; 01-16-2022 at 03:41 PM.. |

All the guards on eBay etc. will fit a normal or M sport pre LCI have them on my own car.
Can't opine on LCI. BMW will tell you OEM guard won't fit M sport as the manual says no but they do. All the ones online are just a copy of the originals and seems just as good in my own experience on 3 BMWs so save the cash and buy non OEM versions. Image below of my own install. |

That's an LCI car it's the mid life refresh version.
Cosmetic changes and the different interior on the LCI model vs the pre LCI. Not sure the pre LCI mud guards I used will fit due cosmetic front and rear bumper changes. If you ask your dealer for the current part number mud guards for the current model then check online, if it's the same PN that will provide you confirmation that the mud guards are the same so you can safely buy anything online. Im sure someone will come along here and advise you that owns an LCI car and fitted the guards. |

Thanx, I had asked my "BMW Genius" about mud guards, and he said there were none, so I assumed based on his title, no OEM existed. I dont think Ive seen any OEM online either.
I have come across these on Ebay, all from China, and it seems like possibly the only option. Both of them have the 530i listed , Im not sure if they are the same design. https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/353681301100 https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/254629572580 |

Dealers always say no OEM mud guards for M sport as BMW don't add them to the catalogue for any M sport vehicles.
Definitely on the g30 pre LCI the OEM and all online copy mudguards fit perfectly. Ask the dealer for the non M sport mud guards part number and check that part number is the same as the one for the pre LCI non M sport. ( or ask the dealer to check both) If PNs are the same just buy anything you see online for a G30. |

So heres what makes me hesitant to buy the Chinese version. If you we look at the Ebay listing , it shows compatible 2017 through 2022. BUT.. the BMW OEM version shows 2017-2020 , so whos more likely to be wrong ? haha https://www.bmwpartsdeal.com/parts/b...162413632.html
Im not exactly followingwhat you said about the Msport. Oh, and thanks for chatting ! |

If your car is an M sport there is no official OEM mud guards.
But the mud guards you can purchase for non M Sport do fit perfectly. Can't help regards LCI as my car is a pre LCI 2017 M sport. |

Well, considering they dont make them available for your Msport, perhaps they are also wrong regarding LCI's. Maybe its something to do with drag and fuel efficiency or some crap. If its just an oversight, well, that is just silly on their part. I guess I will order the chinese version then report back. I'll be the guinea pig for anyone that may find this thread in the future.
