Leather seat repair

Fully acknowledge I did something very stupid - was trying to move parts of a couch in my car moving my father in law into skilled nursing. one of the parts majorly scratched/small tears in the passenger leather seat. is it possible to repair?

sincerely appreciate any input!

First, good for you to help your father in law. I bet this is an emotional moment for your wife and her family.

Regarding your seat, if you find the right guy it can be repaired. I've seen crazy magic done to repair leather. Ask around, call high end body shops and other shops that deal with restoration. Someone can hopefully give you good referrals. Worst case, a new leather section can be ordered for your seat. It's expensive and the disassembly / reassembly can be labor intensive. So, try the repair route first.

Google popped this list:

There also was a TV program on the Motortrend channel that featured a St. Louis "Speed Shop". You might also try calling the shop and asking them who they use for leather upholstery repairs.
