Battery capacity not exact with car firmware

I have replaced my stock 6 years battery 90ah to new AGM Varta 95ah
However while adaptation computer(autologic) show it's 90ah, probably drivers of my car and it's firmware do not handle that.

How safe is that?
Shall I reprogram car drivers to handle 95ah value?
I've heard on the other side that 10% difference is not a problem.

How to eventually reprogram my car to support 95ah batteries?

You NEED to have your new battery coded to your car. Use BMwhat or Carly or take it to your dealer. In the long term, your new battery won't last very long w/o coding.

I took my car to the dealer and they told it's ok however I do not trust dealers.
They just registered it as 90ah without reprogramming car.

Perhaps they don't know how to register the battery.

I would just download an app and then buy a dongle to code it yourself.

As I said they did registration, max supported value in car firmware for AGM is 90ah
How to reprogram car then to support other values (Exactly 95ah)?
Which tools are needed?
2010 F, 730d

I'm afraid it's not possible at all, AFAIK (but I might be wrong) even after re-flash car soft
other higher next value for AGM will be 105Ah.
90 still is closer to 95 than 105.
Battery manufacturer claim this battery is for this car btw....

Ok, I dug a little deeper and it seems you are SOL...

The F10 available ratings are:

AGM: 70, 80, 90, 105
Acid: 70, 80, 90

This difference between 90Ah and 95Ah seems unlikely to cause an issue. This is around 5% error. The battery capacity is likely vary from unit to unit more than that due to manufacturing tolerances. As the battery ages, the 5% difference in initial value will also be insignificant.

If the car was registered/programmed for a 90Ah battery, then a 60Ah battery installed it would be worse. That would mean the battery may get overcharged, and then not recharged until its voltage dropped to the minimum allowable (both cases shorten the life of the battery). However, installing a slightly large battery should NOT be an issue. If I am wrong, can anyone give details of what problem could be encountered.

The battery should be coded as high a rating as you can WITHOUT going higher than what the battery is rated for. So a 95 Ah battery gets coded as 90 Ah.

Hey guys, so i just replaced my battery from AGM 90ah to AGM 95ah. I registered it with bimmerlink, tried expermode in bimmercode to tell it its a 95ah but there was no option for that so i used 90Ah. The car feels different no more vibrations, everything is great EXCEPT the auto start-stop stopped working, and shows a "/" over the start-stop logo on the dashboard when its supposed to go off. Any ideas why?

The errors i got (not sure if they have anything to do with the battery)

Junction Box:
-002031 VSM_EVENT_VEHICLESTATE
-0020040 PDC: reset due to watchdog timeout
Central Gateway module:
-101008 non resolvable ambiguous routing- SG not in the SVT target value
-100104 HW weckgrund ZGW
100204 Message monitoring: no system context signal
Integrated chassis management:
-48276E Autosar- standardcore- non volatile memory- interdity
-482651 slip angle estimator inputs not valis SBS
-482656 slip angle estimator internal degradation due to SBS.

I would appreciate any advice

It could be that the new battery still needs a little charging to get it within specs. Take it for a drive so it can charge the battery. Once the battery is good then it should auto stop/start.
