Looking at a used 2019 BMW M550XI Carfax: Listed as a manufacturer vehicle

So I am in them market for a M550XI and I found one that is nicely priced and lists one owner but the carfax states "Listed as a manufacturer vehicle" Sold at auction.

Are these executive demo cars? Loaners? I see these pop up and I am wondering what these cars were used for? Thanks in advance.

Possibly the car is a trade assist buyback.

Typically, BMW staff cars are never titled to an owner. When someone buys these cars, they are the first owner.

And have a trustworthy mechanic check the car when put on a lift. Never ever trust Carfax!

If it's a BMW Dealer you're prob ok (warranty) if not then becareful
