Digital Speedo?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com It comes on in sport mode only for me. Looked for a setting but couldn't find it. Thanks |

One way I have got round this suggested by another member is to set up Sport Individual mode (if you have it) with comfort settings.

I can confirm using Sport Individual mode works - just set it up with all the settings in comfort mode, then press the Sport mode button once to use it.
Then if you want actual sports settings , press the Sport Mode button again to toggle between Sport Individual and Standard Sports setup. Something I've not been able to confirm yet - if anybody knows the answer: if you have VDC and select Adaptive mode, what does the digital dash look like? Is it possible to setup the individual sports mode (and thus get the Sport version of the instrument panel) and use the Adaptive suspension setting rather than comfort or Sport? |

Personally I don't like digital display for speed - is there any way to get analog readout in sport mode?

I like digital red sport graphics BUT I would like it only for sport+
The comfort are really nice and I would like to have it for sport too.. So u say choose the comfort mode and set everything as sport manually and save it somehow like "individual comfort mode" or ? |

I could have sworn you cheeky UK guys were just messing with us poor U.S. folks by mocking you wanted the option for analog on your digital display... I guess I have no idea what you are talking about because at this point you seem completely serious... How can you switch to an "analog" speed reading?

I mean seeing a dial with a needle. I've had cars with pure digital display for speed etc and I find the mind processes the analog style dial more quickly.
Seeing a relative position is much quicker for the brain to process than an absolute set of digits that one needs to process into a 'number' in the brain and then equate that number to the speed limit of the road etc. Personal thing.

This is why I've chosen half-digital tacho. This way I can always see the normal rev counter. No need to play with settings and all. Still thou I must admit full digital looks a lot better.
