2017 M2 available at BMWSF

Was here for service and saw this beauty in the showroom. Available for sale. Attached sticker for anyone interested. Not an M2 owner so I dont know if these things are still like GT350R's or not anymore.

This seems like the Performance Edition.

Not options.

If it is indeed selling at msrp not a bad deal.

Performance edition is nothing but options. Manual transmission manual seat CF etc. it's not faster or better in any meaningful way. And $2500 of that $9000 is the higher speed limited and a track day.

I was in their showroom a couple of months ago. This white M2 Performance Edition was in the lobby with a $20K mark up.

Still hasn't sold. Jokers.

lol yeah for two reasons, first, its san francisco. second, no one here is dumb enough to pay 80k for an empty M2 when they can get a fully loaded M3/M4 for less.

if the markup was listed on the sticker when you saw it, im guessing they removed the markup lol.

The forced $2,500 for the track session seems like overkill. If the package was just $6,500 it would be reasonable in my eyes.

Think a 15 - 20 hp bump (if possible) would get people more into the perf edition?

The whole thing is a joke TBH. 6500 to remove a bunch of options and another 2500 for a track day.

If you were interested in the MP Exhaust and Suspension it doesn't seem that bad to me. Probably wasn't necessary for bmw to pull the HK stereo, comfort access and dual climate as it saved only a few lbs.

Allegedly they both wore tights, but I think you're thinking of Robin Hood.
