I was doubting it for a little but slowly getting used to it. The car needs a good clean!!!!

Next mod is the carbon rear spoiler and then I'll hopefully add front and rear splitters / diffusers.

I'm also mildly interested in the carbon wing mirrors but I'm worried they'll stand out too much...thoughts?

Here is what the CF looks like against my DGM paint.

looks great, I did the same. Also added front lip spoiler, rear CF wing and CF diffuser to the rear, which requires a different lower bumper trim, came as a "kit" off ebay.

That's rather lovely. I'll see how I get on with the parts. The other option is to go for gloss black non-OEM parts instead of carbon parts.

I've used DM Autoteile a number of times in the past but they only offer the basic rear diffuser...

The kit includes front and rear spoilers / diffusers, side skirt blades, and rear spoiler with all parts to install it.

https://www.dm-autoteile.de/Set-Spor...G31-M-Sport-17

€823.50 ($922) for the complete kit plus €650 ($727) to have it all painted gloss black.

Thoughts or should I get the two part rear diffuser and/or go carbon. (Well over twice the cost unless I go non-OEM), then I'm not entirely sure....

OEM I’m sure is “better” but I went aftermarket, all off eBay, and am pleased for probably a third the price.

After reading all of your black vs. CF posts on a black car you are swaying over to the dark side!

Shame about my neighbours car but it looks so much better from this angle in the daylight. Very pleased now! 😁

Perfection. I have had my Carbon Black 540d for a year and have been on the fence about it. You just made up my mind!

Personally I like before... I'm not a fan of this black grill with a black car. There isn't any contrast, just my 2 cents.

Do your grills louvre open? Does the replacement grills you installed interfere with them?

No, not at all. The open/close mechanism sits behind the grill and the new grills are like for like against the chrome ones.

Anyone know where I can find the trim piece that goes above the fog light in gloss black? I only see them for sale in carbon fiber

so anyone recommend putting a roof spoiler on the back windshield and where to get one?
