540I X Drive

All,

Can I ask an opinion.

What you do think of this spec...

https://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/vehicle/2...9-1e59c5d1b85c

I am looking at purchase. Finance agreement is very competitive.

Is there any essential spec missing?

I love the colour this car comes in "San Marino Blue".

It has VDC.

Missing comfort seats which I do think I like... and the soft close doors which are a nice touch.

I am also considering the 530D....

Try get one with the adaptive LED headlights. Definetly worth it. Part of the Visabilty Pack, where you also get High Beam Assist and Headlight Wash. Out of all the packs, this is probably the best one and makes night time driving much better!

I recently purchased a 540ix from Sytner 2 weeks ago. More miles then the one your looking at but was in really good condition.

As a comparison, my spec is below which I'm quite pleased with.

• Heated front seats
• Instrument panel in sensatec
• Lumbar support
• Sport seats
• 20 inch individual wheels v-spoke 759i
• High-gloss shadowline

• M rear spoiler
• Sun protection glass
• M sport braking system
• M sport suspension
• Alarm system
• BMW online services
• Navigation system professional
• PDC front and rear
• Real time traffic information
• Single-disc cd player
• Dab digital radio
• Sport automatic transmission

Additonal Spec

• BMW gesture control
• Elec fr seats + driver memory
• BMW icon adaptive led headlights
• Display key
• Enhanced bluetooth- wireless charging
• Harman kardon loudspeaker system
• Head-up display
• Headlight wash
• High-beam assistant
• Reversing assist camera
• Wifi hotspot preparation

+1 for comfort seats
The adaptive led headlights are good . Cosmetically they look better but I think fair to say they really only into their own on twisty unlit roads. You won't see their benefit on lot roads so I guess it depends where you drive as to how important that is

It has the HUD which is awesome )once you had this you won't want a car without it again)

Spec looks good otherwise imho.

I would just say hold out for what you want , nothing worse than owning a car that isn't quite what you really wanted.

Happy to be corrected but always feel cats like this tend to come in either poverty spec (generally the smaller engines) or tend to be loaded up 540 and 530d (generalising here!)

Thanks for the reply defo agree you have to hold on to what you want!!

The epic colour of this one has really caught my eye... it does have a fair bit of kit just a shame a few of the extras aren't there or id of bought it immediately!!

Another night of debating with myself haha.

It was up for £32k. I part ex'd my 2016 640d with the new car.

They knocked of £500 on the 540i but bumped up the part ex value on the 640d.

The 540i had 28,000 miles compared to the 10,000 the one you're looking at.
