Help me pick my new car!

Currently own an RS3 and have an M4 on order. The M4 is replacing the RS3, but considering canceling the M4 and choosing a different replacement car instead. My options are the following:

- 2018 RS5 Coupe
- 2018 M4 CP
- 2018 TTRS Coupe
- 2018 C63S Coupe
- 2018 718 Cayman GTS

All have pros and cons, which one will you pick and why?

To my ears, the Cayman doesn't sound any worse than an M4 so between those two I'd say Cayman.

However Audi interiors are a class above the rest, but lack a little in the dynamic department (unless you just want straight line fun).

C63s is a pretty great all round package.

Why not an M2? More fun than all of them!

E46 M3 All Day. I have both and the E46 is always a raw and amazing car especially with a good set of coils. Always puts a grin on my face.

Which year RS3 do you own? Why are you replacing it?

If it is the previous generation RS3, why are you not considering the new one?

Pre FL RS3, not interested in the New RS3 but rather a TTRS because its a coupe and faster if i go that route

TT RS or 718. Others are 500+ pounds heavier and much less sporty.

I see. I say go with the 718 GTS. Because if you can get by with a sports car, it is a moral imperative that you buy one. And the 718, while not quite as quick as a TT RS, is going to be the more pure driving experience.

C63s. But let me tell you the ttrs is no joke. Drove a 16', those things are rocket ships. I just can't do the little to no backseat

what do you value in the driving experience?

sound?
low end torque?
throttle response?
compact size?
handling capability?

depending on how you answer thise questions your choice will be obvious

i enjoy sound torque and throttle response over handling and so the c63s is the obvious choice

What you like about the C63s is whats making me stay away from plus the heavy weight.
I like the car to be nimble, agile like the 718 but the sound is ugly. TTRS is perfect but i dont like the fact thats its on a haldex platform, M4 perfect car except the traction issues, RS5 also perfect but the interior without leather dashboard is putting me away.

But I thought you were driving an RS3. Right? The Haldex system didn't stop you from buying that car, so why are you letting it stop you from buying a TT RS? Furthermore, the version used in the new generation cars is much improved.

If you try hard enough, you can scrutinize any car to a point where you rule it out. Are you trying to talk yourself out of getting a car altogether? That would be a shame since you have been waiting for this M4 to arrive for, what, months now? When's it supposed to be delivered, anyway?
