Looks absolutely brilliant! What do you think of the black wheels? I am seriously considering changing my order to the black wheels (going for Med Blue paint) - but can't quite decide yet!

Love the black wheels in the flesh as personally I dont like the standard 19's , prefer the 20's, however the black colouring detracts the eye and compliments the overall look. I will be honest, it was a gamble going for the azurite colour (as I had not seen it in the flesh) but its stunning and gives it an edge over the standard colour offerings especially with the blue calipers, blue stitching on the black interior and those awesome blue ambient night lights ... Cheers

Build time was around 6 months in the UK and that included the extra 6 weeks for the individual colour. As you know, the 530e is highly sought after by company car owners for its superb perfomance/mpg and low tax. Well worth the wait especially as I was upgrading from a 4-series GC

Car looks great. Loving the black on black look.

I personally think the black wheels never look very good in the pictures. In fact they look a bit dull (in the pictures). But I completely agree in the flesh they look stunning. I've just bought a set of 664m black wheels for my White G30 that is on order. I really wasn't sure about the black wheels until I actually saw them on a white car in real life. They look so different

The black wheels will help it stand out from every other black 5er out there. Good decision.

I think the Azurite Black is the BEST color available. When I got my jet black 530e I didn't know this color existed.

Thanks for the comments. Got to say that the colour is stunning and the pics really dont do it justice. I was parked in the petrol station last night and under the lights it had a purple tint to it!?... turned a few heads. It was my 1st trip to the petrol station since it arrived and took me a while to figure out that I had to depress the petrol release cap TWICE. Still , an average of 59.1 MPG and I was very happy indeed.

Tried to show pics of the colour based on intensity of sun ranging from, none/cloud to the sunniest day we have had yet this year in the UK!

Interesting. I have the 530e in Sophisto Grey, and I almost consider it to be a black wannabe. I was concerned until I received it that it would be too light, but in the flesh mine is stunning. I have to say, I actually prefer it over black, and the gloss black trim stands out more against it.

Very nice car, OP. I'm not personally a fan of all black though, nothing personal, I've just never like any car that's all black

Looks great! I was going to put one on order with at least the M Brakes on Alpine White, as that contrast was going to look amazing. My dealer then offers me something that was coming off the port in a few days, and it was close enough, 19" rims, but with standard brakes. I like this because you can choose to drive like a Prius and save on MPG or drive like a BMW with enough power to do what you need (or want) to do.

I see a lot of UK cars with the back windows tinted. Is this how most cars come from the factory there or do you just have the rear sunshades?

Its an option "sun protection glass" or alternatively you can do it yourself. I find the factory tinting to be quite light - 50% or so (I'm sure someone can correct me) but I've either had or had it done to all of my cars in the past as it looks so much better, provides some privacy and does cut or some of the summer heat.

The shades don't quite cover the the whole glass surface and don't look the same.
