Tax Credit for 2019 530e
Does anyone know if the federal credit also applies to 2019 models? Website only lists 2018 and want to be sure before the trigger is pulled. Thanks!

This tax credit will be available until 200,000 qualified EVs have been sold in the United States by each manufacturer, at which point the credit begins to phase out for that manufacturer. BMW has not reached this threshold yet so the credit is in effect for 2019 models.

and just to clarify if I understand what I've read regarding this tax credit...if leasing...the dealer gets the credit can apply as a cap reduction/discounted sales price?

that is correct. dealer gets FED credit, you can get a state credit if your state allows. I was able to claim it for MA and it took them about 2.5 months to process it!
