back up beeps..
hey guys i had my car in for service and now i notice the back up warning beeps are off, the front ones are fine.. all the depth windows work as well.. would this be a coding issue or possibly a bad sensor?

Not sure what your question is. Are you saying the PDC gong is configured to be on, but doesn't sound for your front sensors only? If so, that sounds like a bad sensor(s). As iDrive allows you to confirm the PDC gong sound level, but that is for all PDC sounds not just front or back or etc.
But to be sure I'd reboot iDrive by holding down the radio power button for ~30 seconds until it reboots and see if that makes any difference. |

sorry about my wording... let me try to make this a bit more reader friendly... when i back up and get close to an object.. i get on the screen colored panels that change as i get closer to the object from green to red.. also as i get closer there is a beeping that gets quicker and louder... This happenes from the front or the back depending on which direction i am going.. The front is working perfect, but when backing up, i get everytning but the beeps... just wondering if this is controlled through the idrive or did the tech at bmw mistakenly shut something off when they did the oil change? I did the hard reset as well,, no change.
