If I have the display set to change color based on driving mode it will go red for sport mode, blue for eco pro, and then I can’t remember the color for comfort or whatever.

Anyways, is there any way to code this differently? I kinda like the blue and would rather have it blue all the time.

Guessing you have an LCI because I can’t change colors with driving mode but they would be cool. Can’t you just set all the colors for modes to blue?

I have custom coded mine. I bet BimmerCode or Protool can do what your are asking.

I’m boring. I just set mine to white at all times, unless the kid asks to change it.

I pretty much run what I am showing in this picture 99% of the time. It was fun coding a few different choices, but I haven't messed with it or coded anything in over a year. I have everything the way I like it. God forbid I lose my coding, I forget half the little things I have done. Such as coding out the mode change pop-ups. This thread reminded me.

In U.K. we get an option to it display the mode changes , after it’s annoying and unnecessary really

Pretty much the coding out is activating a checkbox in the idrive memp to enable/disable pop-ups. Probably what you have by default.

I would prefer people in the car to not know when I am putting it in Sport+ for example.

In case you mean the actual dash, the only way to change it is to set it to the Alpina display with BimmerCode.

And, you are in luck, as the color of the Alpina dash is actually blue..

OP... I'd like to see more pics of your car with the black wheels. I have an M550i and a 540i that are both that same color and I'd like to change one of them up a little. I think I like the black wheels on that but would like to see more.

I need to get bimmercode... like the idea of changing to multiple colors. Would be great if it could cycle colors like the new s class.
