Can you remove the cup holders for cleaning?

Had a passenger that made a mess that luckily stayed inside the cup holder. Can you remove it? Don't want to yank on it and break something.

Agreed, I bought one of the Dyson handheld vacs and it works great at vacuuming the car.

You can either remove the little rubber coasters at the bottom of the cupholder (just use something to pick them out, they are not secured with anything) or you can remove the whole thing.

Removing the whole thing does involve screws though - google the DIY to add wireless charging, it shows how the cupholder assembly is removed.

If I have the correct diagram...it looks like #6 (the cup holders) is secured by two screws (#7):
