I thought I would post in this section for anyone curious about recent delivery timelines or needing help finding a great salesman.

My car went into production 11/5, finished 11/19, arrived in California 12/26, 5 painful weeks stop sale at the Oxnard VDC before being received at the dealer. 87 days.

For anyone waiting on their car, I was surprised to get the digital key and hands-free kick to open trunk. These features were being deleted at the time of my order. No wireless charging on my car, as expected.

I’ve only driven around 400 miles so far, but I am thoroughly impressed. A multiple personality car which is what I wanted. A total performance beast that easily transitions to a silent riding luxury cruiser.

I ordered through Jon Shafer at BMW Santa Maria and like to give praise when it is deserved. He is one of the rare BMW trained sales professionals who has been selling only BMWs for decades. No BS, no number games, no ridiculous markups, great knowledge, phenomenal customer service and communication. A fantastic sales experience from order to delivery. Jon is the kind of salesman most people want but don't often get.

I’ve only had the chance to drive mine about 400 miles. So far, I find the M550i amazing, it was worth the wait. I like being able to transform the car from super sport to luxury cruiser with the push of the button.

I’m curious to hear your thoughts once you get some time behind the wheel.

I am looking foward to my first day going to be 60 and sunny today. I am coming out of an RS7 so I need to get used to being back in a sedan w a trunk. Spent two hours remote w my BMW salesman learning that car last night, its got impressive features

Really nice! I have the exact same exterior layout on my 550 coming in May. I am in the DC/MD area, crossing my fingers that it gets here early. The wait is the worst...
