Coolant bleeding procedure not working

2018 BMW 530i
I replaced one of the Coolant return line (part#11537643226) for the turbo and tried to engage the bleed procedure by
1- putting the car on accessory mode by clicking start/stop 3 times
2- setting the temp on climate control to max(84f)
3- setting the fan spped to the min
4- pressing on the accelerator for up to 15 seconds
I tried it so many times and it never initiated the water pump to start

Am I doing it incorrectly?
Am I missing a step?

Some vids Ive seen say something about the headlights and flasher should be on....
If anyone can assist me in this Id greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.

Garage List
I just did this last weekend and you have to have the low beams and hazard flashers on also. I had to buckle the driver seat belt too. What got me early on was how quickly you have to triple press the start/stop button. I saw on one of the bulletins that it has to be triple pressed within 0.8 seconds and that's about what I had to do to get the car to go into diagnostic mode.

Christ, the official procedure is painful. Anyway, for the B48 engine, the following is it:

Switch the ignition on.
Set heater to maximum temperature and turn blower down to lowest speed.
FES (driving experience switch) must not be set to ECO PRO!
Press accelerator pedal for 10 seconds to floor.
Then start the engine. The idle speed is automatically 1200 rpm.
After 3 min:

- Press on accelerator for 10 s at about 3000 rpm.

- Idle for 10 s.

- Press on accelerator for 10 s at about 3000 rpm.

- Idle for 10 s.

- Press on accelerator for 10 s at about 3000 rpm.

- Idle for 1 min

After 5 min, the thermostat is automatically supplied with current and the electric coolant pump is automatically switched on

Protection in vehicle: Pay attention to instrument panel temperature display.

After 6 min:

- Press on accelerator for 10 s at about 3000 rpm.

- Idle for 10 s.

- Press on accelerator for 10 s at about 3000 rpm.

- Idle for 10 s

- Press on accelerator for 10 s at about 3000 rpm.

- Idle for 2 min

After 9 min:

- Press on accelerator for 10 s at about 3000 rpm.

- Idle for 10 s.

- Press on accelerator for 10 s at about 3000 rpm.

- Idle for 10 s

- Press on accelerator for 10 s at about 3000 rpm.

- Idle for 1 min

11 min after starting the engine, charging/bleeding procedure is ended. The engine speed is again at nominal level. The thermostat current supply is cut and the electric coolant pump is switched off again.
Coolant bleeding procedure is ended.

Do you sometimes get the feeling that the software guys are messing with us now with these sequences? All it's missing is standing on one leg with your trousers rolled up while holding a rolled up copy of Total BMW magazine dated Jul 1988.

Yeah. Ha ha. Can't one of those app gizmos do the same thing by just pressing a freaking button? I'd have to buy one to reset the maintenance warnings anyway.
