Gloss Black Kidney Grill

I plan on replacing all the copper colored accents with Gloss Black ones. I ordered this set from eBay and thought its cheap enough why not. The fit and finish is pretty good, and they fit perfectly. No issues with quality or fitment. Popped the old ones off in 30 seconds and put the new ones on. Now to address the fob light covers on the bumper. I have Gloss black mirror caps, side vents and trunk badges coming later this week!

Here is the link for the eBay grills...I have no affiliation, I am pleased with the look, and they were $30 shipped. Arrived in 2 days.

Looks great & well done for not fitting the double slat M5 type which looks odd with the active vent lines showing.

I recommend a set of headlight eyebrows in gloss black I have a set on my G30 and they look superb as they would on yours.

You're going to have to wrap those pork chops. The black ones are impossible to find. BMW discontinued them. It's a cheap DIY project and they are so low and hidden if the wrap isn't perfect, you won't see it. You can get the gloss 3M on Amazon for cheap and plenty of it for trial and error. That is what I would do, but I personally like the Cerium Gray bits (that's what it is called, not copper). My knee jerk when I took delivery, like you, was to delete all the Cerium. Glad I didn't, I think it distinguishes it. A lot of people immediately associate it with Chrome and want to get rid of it, it is far from the cheap plastic chrome look. I am personally glad I lived with it and grew to love it. Goes with the 668's which are also Cerium. There are just a lot of blacked out cars out there, so it's nice to have something a little different. The only thing I did change was the grill because I thought the cerium trim around it made the nose look Lincoln-ish.

Thanks for the wrap idea. I was thinking I could paint them as well. wrapping may be less work and easy to go back to stock. Once they are painted, no going back..lol.
