What a loss! His voice was what I like to describe as "tarnished gold" because with every song he painted the picture of pain but made it relatable without it being so depressing. He was able to careen new fans without alienating his current fanhase that knew he was a hurting soul. Man, the music world misses that voice...RIP

Saw them headline / finish - my first ever Coachella some 18 yrs ago. They were wicked like no other electronic performance I had seen before. Really good memories from that night.
