When you say you had to turn up the fan speed... what intensity level are you normally running in Auto mode? |

Yes this fan speed dial seems to have caused confusion on the f10 and g30.
It controls the maximum fan speed it will output, doesn't necessarily mean that if you it set it to 5 bars it will blow at that intensity all the time, it's just when it needs to. For warmer hotter weather I might suggest setting it to 4 or 5 bars. I have a 2017 model and believe the ac is better now following a istep upgrade last year. The logic behind it seems better. In terms of how cold it can get some of the bad reviews may possibly be down to the gas that is now used which is r1234yf which according to the tech docs is a little less efficient than the previous. Although not deemed green these days I remember my previous cars years back that had freon outputting very cold air indeed. |

As was suggested, I have gone into idrive and turned both the blue/red dials digitally all the way to blue, which was the setting I always used anyway on the thumbwheel they used to have. In South Texas, no need to change it. I also keep my fan speed profile set all the way up most of the time, so it is in the most aggresive setting....sometimes have to turn it down in the early morning. We've had a few 90 degree days so far, and I've had no problems.

Also pulled the fuse for the exhaust this afternoon. I haven't driven it yet but look forward to driving it tomorrow to see if I notice any difference. |
