NO DHP unfortunately. This was the 1 option that I really wanted but was impossible to find!

As far as the roll goes I am not sure if its just my perception as I get familiar with xdrive and a new suspension setup. My 2005 530i had a sport package with active steering and I am assuming the feel of that car is carrying over to this comparison. Hopefully my perception changes soon
Your perception will not change; the E60 was an amazing drivers car and BMW lost the ultimate driving machine narrative with the F10 and the G30....although they are moving in the right direction with the G.

My E60 535 handled better than my F10 M5

The blue/red 'feature' is still there, use the menu button to get to it in iDrive.

When you say you had to turn up the fan speed... what intensity level are you normally running in Auto mode?

Yes this fan speed dial seems to have caused confusion on the f10 and g30.

It controls the maximum fan speed it will output, doesn't necessarily mean that if you it set it to 5 bars it will blow at that intensity all the time, it's just when it needs to.

For warmer hotter weather I might suggest setting it to 4 or 5 bars.

I have a 2017 model and believe the ac is better now following a istep upgrade last year. The logic behind it seems better.

In terms of how cold it can get some of the bad reviews may possibly be down to the gas that is now used which is r1234yf which according to the tech docs is a little less efficient than the previous.

Although not deemed green these days I remember my previous cars years back that had freon outputting very cold air indeed.

As was suggested, I have gone into idrive and turned both the blue/red dials digitally all the way to blue, which was the setting I always used anyway on the thumbwheel they used to have. In South Texas, no need to change it. I also keep my fan speed profile set all the way up most of the time, so it is in the most aggresive setting....sometimes have to turn it down in the early morning. We've had a few 90 degree days so far, and I've had no problems.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that was a "max speed setting" living in Texas I will probably just leave it at 4 or 5.

Also pulled the fuse for the exhaust this afternoon. I haven't driven it yet but look forward to driving it tomorrow to see if I notice any difference.
