Moonroof Delete just added as an option for M235i

Congrats! I wonder if they think we collaborated in updating our orders at the same time. I literally sent my order update about an hour before you posted that you did, but my update was a little different.

I wanted the park distance control so I added the park assist to get that.

I'm really surprised they were able to update your order with less than a month to go before your pickup date! Awesome news

Damn. When I ordered my 228i, I couldn't get a moonroof unless it was part of the premium package. Now it's a standalone option for about 1,000. I totally would have added it if it was available.

The moon roof has been a separate option for the 228 at $1050 for at least several weeks, at least when the MSport option is picked.

I only like the sunroof to let more light inside the car, no other reason, it was the primary reason I did not order the 1M, could not order a sunroof

Exactly it should be a choice on everything. I leave mine cracked after I come back from the gym so my car doesn't end up smelling like sweat forever.

But if I was buying not leasing I would have other concerns so I would consider leaving it out. Or if I wanted a mostly track car I would leave it out.
