Noob on suspension

I have power and braking upgraded and wanted to upgrade suspension now. I have a 2009 e90 n54 with sport and premium packages. I have been researching and think I want to go with M3 Front Control Arms and KW V1 for my DD. Are the TRW control arms fine or do you recommend BMW parts? I am looking to to improve handling but not go extreme, i.e. Drop to the ground drastically increase tire wear. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

The TRW are the OE ones. When you'll get them you'll see the M has been brushed. Buy the TRW with confidence.

Thanks. I see everyone talking about replacing the front only. Isn't it just as important to upgrade the rears as well?

The M3 rears are not necessary, and are not really an upgrade.

I'd personally avoid KW as they have pretty poor longevity issues and aren't worth the money they command.

Look into a Koni yellow (Sport) shock and lowering spring combo. It'll blow those KWs out of the water.

I would recommend upgrading the rear sway bar with the M3 sway bar.
