No, I did the full catback. Just took off the old and need to figure out what I will be doing with it. Thinking about just chopping it up and tossing it in a dumpster but it's $3400 for a replacement if I do ever need to return to stock for some reason.

Since I'm leasing I'm keeping the stock exhaust and will have it installed when I turn the car in. One of my buddies has a huge car shop and is letting me keep it there 😎 |

Nah, chose to finance it.
Ordered some detailing products, car is in need of a wash. Trying to decide if I want to buy a pressure washer or not now. |

Got the products in, just need to find time to have the paint corrected before I coat it.

Nice! Also interested in what the new size was that you went with. I've mostly gotten used to mine (stock size on the 668M wheels) but my other car is an SUV so a part of me will always be looking for a little more meat on the tires.

Yeah DSW's, 245/40/20 and 275/35/20. At this point I wouldn't recommend them as my car has an unpredictable floaty feel to it on the highway. Was going to stick with PSS but couldn't find them in this size. Not sure if it was the increase in size, summer to all-weather or continentals soft sidewalls that caused the feeling...or if it was a combination of all three.

Perhaps you're over inflated? One thing I was wondering was what is proper inflation pressure since they're not factory. |

I haven't played with pressures but the fronts are around 41 and the rears 44 (temps 101-108f) when I checked them on the screen after driving in to work today.

What do you think about this idea?
1 would stick to the tip of the engine cover in the center and 2 would be centered on the metal piece over the radiator closer to the grills, like the Lambo firing order on their engines. Last edited by Mach550; 10-24-2019 at 11:43 PM.. |

BUT, if I were to add these, I'd just go with #2 and not put anything on the plastic engine cover. First, not sure how much these weigh, but I just don't like the idea of an extra bit bouncing around on the plastic cover over time. Second, in theory if someone were actually working on the engine and needed to be reminded of the firing order, the cover would be off and not available for reference. However unlikely that scenario is - when I'm doing stuff like this I still like it to make sense. Of course - more important than our thoughts is what you think looks good on your own car! My M550 has the individual paint placard on the metal part where you're suggesting #2 - it does look neat having something in that spot which is probably why I'm also having a preference for that. |

So with two of the four tires messed up during the accident I decided to go back to Michelin and get some PS4's in the stock sizes. Front tires were two tenths less than the rears in just two months. I thought these cars were rear biased AWD systems?

Seems about right, braking is a lot harsher on the front tires and they are much narrower than the rear as well so it makes sense that they lose tread depth much quicker
