COMMENTS

We personally received this invitation to pass along to BIMMERPOST members from the PhD Students of the BMW Group. It's for an Advanced Assistance Systems exhibition and interactive hands-on demo, being held at the BMW Welt from this May 13-17.

If you're in the area during these days, be sure to drop in and check out the latest in driver assistance technologies from BMW. You'll even have a chance to test these latest technologies available on a test drive with a fully equipped 7 Series.

I know right? I didn't realize there was a BMW University. Weird. I guess I went to the wrong college.

In many science and engineering Ph.D.s in Europe, you work collaboratively with a company in a related industry. For example, if you're a mechanical or aerospace engineering Ph.D. in Holland or France, there's a good chance you will be working with EADS/Airbus.

So it's like the USA, when people go to Law School, and end up working with an ambulance company. Bah-domp-BOMP!

You must have read my mind!

Its gonna be hard bc we have our Welt 4.0 car show on the 12th. Then some of us 1Addicts will drive to Gross Glockner Pass(13th). Then back to work for me. Then that next weekend is the M Festival at the 'Ring which I want to attend and cover! On the "other side" of Germany!! Euro Life is tough!

Unfortunately not. The event is held in a style of exhibition where the visitors just stop by. There will be no lectures or oral presentations.
