More demo/evaluation material. Apparently Crank has an amazing ATMOS mix... and I like to use major sporting events (usually NFL) to evaluate and tune the channel level and distances (delays) in multi-channel systems... so I bought the most recent Super Bowl disc without the Patriots winning. I'm not an Eagles fan, but I wasn't about to watch the Pats win over and over. F That.

So I bought my 993 about 2 years ago, I've always wanted one. The car came from Texas and is a perfect Black on Black. I couldn't justify the price of an S model which is about 1 3/4" wider in the rear with identical performance etc. For another $20K + I couldn't push my wife's good nature. The car came with Turbo Twist wheels which I have never cared for. They looked good, but I like something with a bit of lip, dish, concave what ever you want to call it. I'm also trying to make the car as stock looking as possible as I think the car is somewhat of a classic. So I ordered a set of Speedline RH wheels, they came on December 24th, Merry Christmas to me. Yesterday the weather was nice so I called up the local tire shop and was able to get in. The roads were wet as it had rained so the car does need a clean up and I've put it back under the cover likely for the balance of the winter. Anyway, here's a quick pic in the driveway.....I think the wheels make it look really planted and aggressive I'm really happy with the look.

Me too, I bought my wife a Planet Ocean a few years ago. She loves the orange bezel and strap and the big chunkily look. My problem is I have the attention span of a squirrel and way to many interests. Watches, stereo's, cars and boats to name a few. Then there's the whisk(e)y, cigars and guns......thank god my wife is complicit and understanding.

Same list here. Just substitute tools for booze and I'm good!

*upgrading my Apple TV to the current 4K model.

*buying a new 4K Blu-Ray Disc player. I chose the Sony UBP-X1100ES. I've used this piece and it's predecessor very often. Easy choice. https://www.sony.com/electronics/blu...etails_default

*additional speakers. I can't install in-ceiling speakers, so I'll be using the "bounce method" where an upward-firing loudspeaker bounces its output off the ceiling. I picked KEF's best ATMOS Module... the R8a in gloss black. These will be sitting on their matching KEF R3 stand-mounted speakers already in my possession. https://www.shop.us.kef.com/r8a.html

While Im extremely versed in ATMOS systems, my experience using the bounce method is relatively limited. Being "forced" to used the bounce method IN MY OWN SYSTEM should be an interesting experience. I'm looking forward to it. My upstairs neighbors, not so much. :
Let me know how that turns out for you. I'm on the AVS forum and it's a hit or miss on the bounce method especially when you don't have a flat ceiling to work with. I'll be going with the RSL's myself

Nice. I have been looking at the R7 to replace my hardwired R1 in my daily so I can move the R1 over to my M3.
