Thinking of placing and order for a 540 but unfortunately can't get the parking assistance package. Anyone missing this on their build? More specifically the 360 Camera View.

Also, what % is everyone getting off?

Apparently you can ask your dealer to add it for you, even though it is not listed.

For the 540/M550 In many cases orders are being accepted when the Parking Assist package is added by dealer. Ask dealer to submit the order with it added. Then cross your fingers the order isn't delayed and delayed.... Or kicked back!

Discounts in today market? Few and far between. Be thankful if your deal is calculated at under MSRP. You should be able to get loyalty. Also, CCA rebate is still good if you're a member.

I got 3% off msrp for a lease. Compared to other 5 local dealers it was a gift

Hey neighbor, Lehigh Valley here, our local BMW dealer didn't hesitate at our 8% off MSRP for base and options. This was late Aug / early Sept 2021. We just took delivery 1/10/2022 at the Perf Center.

Parking Assist wasn't offered when we ordered, nor did we ask. Parking Assist and DHP are our only missing options, we went all in otherwise.

I'm sure you can figure who the dealer was and if you'd like our CAs name, let me know.

8% off is incredible, even last August. Your dealer didn't bury additional bs fees in the deal, or bump up your interest rate/money factor (if leased)? Did you have a trade?

I'm asking b/c in the past many months I find most people who think they got a deal, really didn't do as well as they think. I'm gathering data for my own lease end coming later this year.

No trade. Financed at .9% using BMW Finance. No rebates were available to us unfortunately. Doc fees were ~$400 and could have been waved but that amount is "normal" in PA.

No games really. Super smooth.

I checked with my dealer to see if this was possible on my incoming 530e; his reply: "Currently there is not a Parking Assistance Professional Package offered."

Has anyone had any luck with getting this added to their build? Any advice on how to go about it if at all it is possible?

I think that they will be able to. Either they don't know that they are able to add it, or they are reluctant to and you have to argue with them a bit more to add it.

My dealer insisted that Parking Assistance Professional Package was only offered on top-tier vehicles. I was in there ordering an M550 and asked if this car qualifies, and he said yes. I don't know what the cutoff level is, but he implied that M550 and M5 were prioritized to receive this option. Never hurts to ask around and see what others dealers are doing.

It's not available on the 530e/i or the 540i. Here's what shows on the 530e in the BMW ordering system
