Is it possible to retrofit folding rear seat backs on the G30.

Whilst the boot / trunk is capacious mine doesn't have folding rear seats which i know is going to annoy me. I appreciate i'll need to get a new rear bench seat back.

Checking out RealOem, it looks like the fixed seat back is fairly easy to remove.

hello my friend, i had the same isue with my car, what i did was to buy a set of splited seats, from ebay, also you will need the cables and levers, its worth the trouble.

I found the same trim folding rear seat so it was a fairly straightforward upgrade. With the rear bench, hardware and folding seat handles it only set me back about £250. I've since sold the 540i replacing it with a 530D which has folding rear seats
