Wonder if this will find its way into some Acuras stateside. Not sure if the Type R is coming to America, God I hope not. It's like Honda just bought a bunch of shit from Pep Boys to slap on the car. This is a car police will pull you over for since the sheer act of driving one is suspicious of something more nefarious.

Basically I don't understand why anyone would buy such a loud, gaudy vehicle.

Really not looking forward to encountering these on public streets, it's almost inevitable that the drivers will think they're in a race car. Hopefully insurance will cost as much as the monthly payment.

Honda/Acura have been out-shined. People got so tired of waiting for the new NSX for 5 years that when it was finally released, people were not only bored with it already, but Ford destroyed them with the GT.

They're trying sooo hard to make a name for themselves again because they're just irrelevant nowadays. Honda hasn't put out a great car since the s2k and Acura with the RSX (in my opinion). They're just trying all these outlandish ideas to rekindle the fire, but not when you have all these great mature hot hatches coming out like the VW R400 and Ford Focus RS.
