$46k and 18,200 miles. I was quoted even less than that from some other dealerships. I wanted to trade her in now before the new 5-Series bodystyle comes out next summer to minimize the pain. MSRP was $84k. I paid $79k.

Ouch, that's brutal IMO. A $30k depreciation in 4 years is ridiculous to me. And you barely have driven her with only 18k miles. Hopefully your next ride will treat you better!

Thanks. I guess the 2019s are less desirable after the MY 2020 LCI update. I’d hate to see my trade-in value when the new bodystyle comes out next year.

It may actually help. No more V8/M550's...........at least as of now. Only M5's are getting the new S68 engine in the 5 series.
That could actually bump the value up IMO.

That seems pretty low, we traded in our 2018 with 48k miles. It had a broken windshield, damaged hood, worn tires, and wheels needed to be refinished due to peeling coating. They gave us 37k.

This was new years day.

Did you have run flats and no spare tire option? I ask because I am interested in the luggage mat, but I have the spare, so this won't fit if you didn't have the spare.

I did not have the spare tire kit although I tried to find one the entire time I had the vehicle. They should’ve just included $150 option on every vehicle since it can easily be removed. I certainly wasn’t going to pay over $1000 for it after the fact. During my research of getting the spare tire kit, I believe the floorboard modifications are required. I’m not sure that’s going to impact this cargo mat or not.

There are two different part numbers for the cargo mat for trunks with a spare and without. From my research, the one for without a spare will not fit trunks with a spare. For the life of me, I can't find the thread or the part number for the mat with a spare. I bought the Weathertech one as they differentiate between the two on their site, but I would have preferred the BMW trunk mat. I found out there is one after I bought the WT. It impossible to find online without the part number.
