Noticed this video uploaded to YouTube the other day from a company called High End Detail. Looks like a relatively new channel. The video is pretty sweet. You could literally create a similarly named video with any car they get in the shop that does these three things. Lucky for us it happens to showcase a 2021 M550i. I personally like this video even more because the car I ordered looks similar to the one in the vid (diff wheels).

Anyway the video features window tinting, paint protection film (PPF), and ceramic coating.

Did they install the PPF over the sensors in the bumper? Or did they cut out holes for the sensors? If they installed it over the sensors, have you had any issue with the sensors not working correctly? I am about to get PPF done. I would prefer a cleaner look covering the sensors, but wanted to know if it affects them at all.

They perfectly cut them out, you literally can’t tell. I’m not even sure you can just go over them, as it’s not perfectly flush and would probably cause air pockets.

Had all three done on both when new. 2 and 3 years later they look better than new less a couple of small stone chips on the windshield.
