Sensor behind the rearview mirror
First off I'm not sure this is the right sub forum for this question but I figured it was close enough...
I've noticed what looks like a sensor on the back of the rearview mirror, on the passenger (right) side. Anyone know what this is? Auto high beam assist maybe? Because with the Hollywood-level studio's worth of cameras on this car, I fail to see what this dinky looking sensor is all about... Reason I'm asking is because I usually put my dash cam right there, in front of the rearview; I've been going without it now trying to figure out if I can safely block it or not, and I'll be damned no one seems to know the answer to this! Thanks! |

Sounds like the sensor for the anti dazzle of the rear view mirror.
